The Hirohashi Family's Historical Documents Reveal the Realities of Medieval Courtly Society ！.

The Hirohashi Family Collection is a group of documents and manuscripts that belonged to the Hirohashi family, one of the court nobles who served as bengaku (government official) and kurabito (storehouse keeper) and were in charge of the court affairs. The collection includes many important cultural properties and is representative of the museum's collection.
This collection consists of diaries kept by the heads of the Hirohashi family from the Kamakura to the Warring States periods, records of rituals extracted from these diaries, and ・ documents and manuscripts copied from the "official duties" of the heads of the Hirohashi family. This exhibition introduces this richly varied collection of documents and classic texts formerly owned by the Hirohashi family, and provides a glimpse into the society of the court nobility in the Middle Ages.
